About GPG Encryption
Gnu Privacy Guard a.k.a. 'GPG' data encryption is a technology that protects e-mail or binary data from inspection by anyone other than it's intended recipient.
I personally encourage the use of data encryption technology for personal communications as an expression of my right to privacy in electronic communications and e-mail. Just as I do not conduct snail mail transactions on post-cards, I would rather enclose my e-mail in the analagous 'digital envelope' to protect my privacy.
